Here is a recent pic of my baby. A 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX. Yes, I know I should get a life and everybody is sick of me ranting about the car but I absolutely adore it!
She is without a doubt the sexist thing I've ever owned and 4 months down the line I'm still as happy as ever about my choice. The motoring equivalent of Jenna Jameson, only more hardcore ;)
My love for all things Subaru has stretched to the point where I own a Subaru beanie, shirt and have a miniture version of the car in my room lol. Yes, I've become a Subaru freak and as petrolheads go pretty obsessed with things I did not usually think about when driving my humble Opel Corsa. But thats for another day.
Now for some facts about where the name comes from:
"Subaru" is the Japanese word for "unite" and for the star cluster Pleiades that is depicted in the company logo. The Pleiades (also known as the Seven Sisters) has seven stars visible to the naked eye.
